Emergency Rescue: Help Us Save Poofy Girl and Her Kittens
A stalled birth threatened her life
Poofy Girl came to the SOCKS family under dire circumstances. While pregnant and in the midst of giving birth, she successfully delivered five kittens, but the sixth kitten was not coming out. After 24 hours of labor, it became clear that Poofy Girl needed immediate help. Her rescuers reached out to us, and without hesitation, we said "yes," knowing that we'd need our community's support to cover the costs.
We rushed Poofy Girl to the Emergency Veterinary Clinic in Niceville, where she underwent an emergency spay surgery. Unfortunately, the last kitten had not survived and was causing Poofy Girl to become very ill. Thanks to the swift intervention, Poofy Girl is now safely recovering in a foster home with her five surviving kittens, who are all doing well so far.
However, the financial cost of saving Poofy Girl's life has amounted to $2,700. We’re reaching out to you, our valued supporters, to help us cover this unexpected expense. Your donation, no matter the size, will directly contribute to the care and survival of Poofy Girl and her kittens.
Can you donate today to help us pay this bill and continue our lifesaving work? Every dollar makes a difference.
